These wires have been chewed up and are disconnected causing the disruption. They are not part of the main operating system thus the problem is not continuous and allowed for the driver to continue his work until his scheduled service visit. The real question becomes how and where plus by what?
In most cases these types of issues are from rodents who have nests within the vehicle or nearby out for a jaunt looking for housing supplies. We did a search of the vehicle to ensure there were no "extra" passengers and went on to finish their automotive service repairs, tuneup and sent them back to their fleet route!
